About Us
The mission of our centre:
To build and promote resilience in children, adolescents, and their families. By resilience we mean the ability to cope with what life throws at us, to be adaptive to changes and difficulties and to flourish in life, despite shortcomings or circumstances.
Who are we?
We are a whole team working on each individual case, at an individual and/or group basis. Our team is comprised of two Medical Doctors specialised in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, two School/Educational Psychologists and a Clinical psychologist whose role is to coordinate and supervise the prevention and intervention groups.
Services provided by our centre:
We focus on the early diagnosis, treatment (incl. group psychotherapeutic interventions, psychopharmaceutical, psychosocial intervention) and prevention of mental disorders and emotional difficulties in children, adolescents, and their families. We persist on a comprehensive and multidisciplinary assessment of the biopsychosocial factors that influence the development and course of difficulties. We also offer further education and awareness for the general public and professionals through workshops, seminars and lectures.
